Smith & Wesson
Model 29-2 .44 Magnum
4" Nickel Pinned & Recessed
Year: 1973 Estimated value: $1,000.00
This is one of the more desirable configurations for the Model 29-2 S&W - a 4” barrel and nickel finish. 29-2’s will have a pinned barrel and recessed cylinders, case colored target hammer and trigger. These “N” frame revolvers are sturdy. This example shows only slight handling marks and flash burns at the front of the cylinder from being shot a few times. This one has the SN matching on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. In 2009 this gun was $800, now worth about $1,000 without its box or presentation case and paperwork, an increase of about 8% annually, with particularly strong growth in 2013.
