Army Special    .38 Spl.
Average but Original Colt DA
Estimated Year: 1914      Estimated value: $500.00
This old Colt was made about 1914 in .38, and with the verified proof stamp on the left side of the frame, is an indicator it could handle the more powerful .38 special, an upgrade from the .38 LC cartridge. This one shows the old charcoal bluing of that era, a good bit remaining, about a 30% condition gun. The hard rubber stocks are in very good shape and fit perfectly. This is very much a beginning type gun, and a shooter if someone wanted to.
