1895 New Army Civilian .38 LC
Very crisp Colt DA .38
Year: 1901 Estimated value: $1,000.00
Here is one of the “near antique” guns, being made in 1901. The New Army Civilian models had two sets of locking latches on the cylinder, hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt included, flat latch, and assembly numbers all matching on the latch, frame, crane. Serial number is shown on its butt. Its last patent date is March 5, ’95. This one is in fabulous condition considering its 110+ years of age showing most of its wear on the straps, with very nice charcoal bluing on the balance of the gun.
